Obituary for James Denney

Master Sergeant James L. Denney, passed away March 10, 2017 at the home of his son, Jason, in Windemere, FL. Born August 14, 1943 in Edgar, NE, he was son of the late James Albert and Kathryn
(White) Denney.

At age 17, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served 22 years, including a tour in Vietnam.

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1983, Jim and his family settled in Brevard County. He was a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier for 16 years, retiring in 1999.

Jim was married to his beloved wife Rosemary for 36 years before she passed in 1999 at the age of 59. They are now together again.

His survivors include his son Jason, his daughter-in-law Robin, and three wonderful grandchildren, Ryan, Makayla, and Sean. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Jim enjoyed playing pool and cards with his friends at the Wickham Park Senior Center.

A joint funeral service for he and son, James Lee Denney will be held at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, FL at 2:00 pm on March 18, 2017. Interment, with military honors, will be at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the U.S. Air Force Assistance Fund at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida.
