Anna Marie Townsend
Anna Marie (Maloney) Townsend, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 15,2016. She was the beloved wife of James H. Townsend for nearly 65 years.
Anna was born in Philadelphia, Pa on May 28, 1932 to parents, William and Caroline. She was raised Catholic along with her brothers and sisters in the heart of the city. Anna was a bookkeeper for Bennetts Meats and later for a manufacturing business.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Maloney and her brothers Bill, James, Bernard, Joe and Eddie and sisters Mary and Teresa. She was the loving mother of Jimmy and Pattie and proud grandmother of Meghan and Morgan. She was also very proud of her great grand-kids, Nathan, Alex, Anna-Marie, Liam, Mark and Trey. She will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
She had an incredible artistic gift which she exhibited through her arts and craft projects. She was an avid seamstres and anyone who had viewed any of her outfits, curtains, purses, bears, or potholders & towel combo was amazed at the attention to detail. She was also an excellent golfer and belonged to the "Hole in One club" three (3) times which she was very proud of.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the DAVIS SEAWINDS Funeral Home, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne at 10:00am. Burial will be private.
